Water braids are divided into ordinary water braids and directional water braids. The ordinary braid is mainly used in the common drilling rig as a connector connected by threads between the transmitted drilling fluid and the drill pipe. When the shell of the braid rotates with the drill pipe, the tail structure is forbidden to rotate. Directional braid is mainly used in the construction of kilometer directional drilling rig drilling process. It works as a connector of threaded connection among transmitted signals, drilling fluid and drill pipe. The directional water braids shell rotates together with the drill pipe, the tail structure of the water braid, which is forbidden to rotate, is connected with the mud pump outlet pipe and the computer signal joints respectively to ensure the transmission of the power medium and the the signal.
