In June 2020, the hydraulic flushing technology for directional long boreholes was successfully tested in the waste rock roadway of Liupan District (covering the belt conveyor roadway of the 6302 working face). The maximum coal return volume per hole reached 287.6 m³, with a converted hole diameter of approximately 1.05 m. The initial gas extraction concentration was 48%, and the initial pure gas extraction volume exceeded 2 m³/min.Gas extraction at Drill Site No. 1 started on July 2, 2020. By April 5, 2021, gas had been extracted for a cumulative of 277 days. The total amount of extracted gas reached 438,000 m³. The average pure gas extraction volume over 8 months was 0.5 m³/min, and the gas content in the extracted area decreased by 3.8 m³/t. During the construction period, an average of 6 m of borehole was flushed per shift.
